If your student is currently attending Herrington on a transfer and you wish to continue at that same school, you do not need to re-apply for the next school year. Your transfer will automatically be reviewed by administration and you will be notified if the continuation is approved. If your student is changing schools (e.g. going from 5th grade to 6th grade), then you will need to complete a transfer.

Linda Herrington Elementary has been designated a Spanish Language and Culture Institute. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade attend five 50-minute Spanish classes every two weeks. Students are learning the Spanish language as well as learning about the cultures of Spanish speaking countries and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. The Spanish program coordinator is Sharon Figueroa. Spanish teachers are Rosa Baza, Mirna Dumarielle, Laura Gonzalez, and Nubia Rabic.

Students in this picture are playing a game using Spanish vocabulary.
