RRISD is proud to compete in TEAM each year as a way to celebrate Arts Education and provide students with artistic opportunities for growth. Please see the attached flyer for more information!
I can send 10 pieces of art, so this will be a first come first serve contest!

It’s almost here! The Heart of Round Rock Run is TOMORROW, Saturday, March 7th, at Old Settlers Park, and we’re so excited to see our community come together.
If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time! You can join us for the 5K or 1 mile run/walk, or lend a hand by volunteering. Every participant makes a difference.
Wear your purple & green and come ready to represent our school! Make sure to stop by our FCE PTA table before or after & say hello!

The Talent Show will take place on Wednesday, March 5 at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria. Students are invited to showcase their talents—singing, dancing, instruments, comedy, magic, poetry, skits, and more.

Yearbook Club – Application closes Thurs 2/5
This year, PTA is hosting a 5-week after-school enrichment club focused on creating specific yearbook pages. This is a great leadership opportunity for fifth-grade students and is limited to 20 students!

February is Heart Healthy Month, and we are excited to once again partner with the American Heart Association, just as our campus has done in the past, to kick off the Kids Heart Challenge!
The American Heart Association leads this impactful, nationwide challenge and teaches our students how to keep their hearts healthy while helping others in our community. Our official start date is Monday, February 2, but families can get a head start right now.
What to Expect at School
Coach Nieto and Coach V will start each PE class with a warm-up aligned with the Kids Heart Challenge, helping students stay active while reinforcing heart-healthy habits.
Join Finn’s Mission
Our goal is for every student to register and complete Finn’s Mission—a series of fun, educational challenges that earn students “Thank You” prizes along the way while learning life-saving skills.
How to Get Started
• Register Online: Sign up early and join the challenge
• Complete the Mission: Follow the prompts with your child to start learning and moving together
If you wish to donate, please know that it is not required. Any proceeds collected go directly to the American Heart Association and support their important work.
